History

The Plymouth Playhouse has been synonymous with high quality theater since 1974. Curt Carlson and Old Log Theatre’s Don Stolz kicked off a legacy of theater in January of 1974 with Woody Allen’s comedy, Play It Again, Sam. From 1988-2017, it was the home of Troupe America Inc.’s “Church Basement Ladies”. Since then, hundreds of productions of the show across the country from national tours to regional runs. In 2018 through 2019, Moore Magic made the Playhouse its home and brought magic to Plymouth.

4 Community Theatre is so excited continue this tradition of excellence and by opening its doors to local theater and arts groups in search of venues!
